Event Description

CanStruction - You CAN make a difference.   We invite local businesses, schools and organizations to join in the CanStruction competition by building structions made primarily out of canned food.  Temas will compete in four categories:  Most Original, Healthiest Meal, Most Cans and Most Creative.

You can participate by: 

• Form a team and build a structure
• Challenge another firm or business to form a team and build a structure too
• Sponsor a Team
• Be a team mentor/Team member (Design Professionals needed for teams already forming)
• Help us with Event Advertising / Promotion
• Have a can collection bin at your office location to collect cans for teams to use on their structure.  The Food Bank will deliver and pick up the collection bins to your office location.

Build Day:  March 2012 at the Coddingtown Mall from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Awards Ceremony/Take Down:  March 2012  11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

All cans collected and used to build the structures will be donated to the Redwood Empire Food Bank.
