Quattrocchi Kwok Architects is an award winning Santa Rosa based architectural firm specializing in K-12 and higher educational projects. We are seeking a highly motivated Project Architect/Manager with at least 10 years of experience in the design of public schools. This is an opportunity to join an established architectural practice with long term, stable clientele. We are a 50 person architectural firm located in the heart of downtown Santa Rosa.
Requirements:Extensive and recent experience with K-12 public education projects and the Division of the State Architect (DSA) approval process is a fundamental requirement Strong demonstrated design skills with an ability to work collaboratively with staff and clientele
Accredited degree in architecture - B.A., B.Arch or M.Arch Licensed Architect in the state of California
Eligible to work in USA
MS Office computer literacy. ArchiCAD proficiency would be beneficial.
Knowledge of the 2010 California Building Code, ADA and Title 24 is necessary.

RDC is currently seeking an experienced project architect with strong technical and management skills to join a team in place. Position requirements include:
Responsibilities: Design, coordinate and assemble complete sets of contract documents utilizing Revit software • Work collaboratively with RDC principals and project teams • Coordinate multiple aspects of client, engineer, sub-consultant and general contractor relationships • Review, coordinate and incorporate the work of structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, civil and other consultants • Manage project scope, schedule and budget requirements • Resolve complex technical building assembly, enclosure, waterproofing and design issues • Develop and maintain the project manual and specifications • Conduct and document on-site observations • Process during construction submittals, RFIs, substitution requests and shop drawings • Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project
Qualifications: •10+ years of relevant experience as a project architect, with a strong background in construction • Revit and AutoCAD experience required • 3D rendering and visualization skills a plus • Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures • Ability to understand how buildings are constructed and to create technical details and documents that succinctly describe the project • Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field • CA Architectural license required and LEED accreditation a plus.
